JOB VACANCY AT DUWASA - DODOMA

Dodoma Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Authority (DUWASA) was established under

section 3(I) of Cap. 272 of 1997 as repealed by section 60 of Water Supply and Sanitation

Act No. 12 of 2009. DUWASA is charged with the overall responsibility of operations and

management of water supply and sanitation services in Dodoma urban within the Municipality.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, dynamic, experienced and performance driven

Tanzanians, male and female, to fill in the following excellent carrier opportunity:

HUMAN RESOURCES AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER – one post

Required Qualifications:

•Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management, Public

Administration, Manpower Planning, Business Administration (Human Resources) or

equivalent qualifications; Master’s Degree in Human Resources & Administration is

essential.

• The applicant should have at least seven years of professional experience at senior

managerial level across all HR disciplines, including employment, OPRAS, benefits,

compensation, employee relations, training and development, workers compensation

and conflict resolution. Experience in water sector is an added advantage.

• The applicant should have a strong background of Tanzanian labour laws and

advanced knowledge of computer applications in Human Resources Management and

Administration Packages.

Reporting

The Human Resources and Administration Manager will be reporting to the Managing

Director.

Summarised Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and ensuring that standard procedures in respect of recruitment, grading,

salaries, training, and promotion are observed and adhered to by all the departments/

sections.
