Position Description:

The Land Surveyor cum GIS Specialist reports to the Manager and has overall responsibility of entering new map data through use of a digitizer or by direct input of coordinate information using the principles of cartography including coordinate systems, longitude, latitude, elevation, topography, and map scales.

Specific duties include:

Carry out land and building surveying operations

Create maps and graphs, using GIS software and related equipment.

Gather, analyze, and integrate spatial data from staff and determine how best the information can be displayed using GIS. Compile geographic data from a variety of sources including censuses, field observation, satellite imagery, aerial photographs, and existing maps.

Analyze spatial data for geographic statistics to incorporate into documents and reports.

Design and update database, applying additional knowledge of spatial feature representations. Operate and maintain GIS system hardware, software, plotter, digitizer, color printer, and video camera.

Produce reports related to both geospatial and non-geospatial data and Evaluate, analyze and compare data sets

Qualification, experience and attributes required:

The applicants should be a Tanzania National who possesses the following qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science in Geo-informatics or Land Surveying discipline

A combination of high level GIS hands-on experience and other outside classes in major GIS applications. A Minimum of 2 years experience in mapping and/or aerial support advanced programs

Proficient in Maplnfo, ESRI ArcGIS, Google Earth,

Ability to multi-task and integrate project segments.

Good IT technical skills and ability to think creatively include computer experience in mapping/aerial software, Windows applications, spreadsheets, and graphics/desktop publishing

Good analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to convey GIS/spatial information to non-GIS/technical people

The Human Resources Manager reports to the Director of Human Resources aQf1 has overall responsibility of performing the corporation's human resources functions include planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations, and human resources policies, processes and practices.

Specific duties include:

Prepare and execute process of recruitment, motivation and retention of high quality staff. Forecasting the Human Resources requirements and planning.

Advice and support Management in the preparation and implementation of the Human Resources policies, and procedures. Provide technical advice to line managers in employment and labour relations.

Advice Management in the design of jobs reviews of organization structure and management of corporate culture.

Advice management on employee relations, disciplinary matters and managing programs focusing on workers participation, maximize staff commitment and minimize staff grievances.

Qualifications, experience and attributes required;

The applicants should be a Tanzania National who possesses the following qualifications:

A Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.

A Master degree in management field is an added advantage.

Eight (8) or more years working experience in Human Resources with at least 4 years in a similar or senior position in large organization

With excellent communication skills both in Kiswahili and English, and interpersonal skills,

Good knowledge of Labor Laws and industrial relations

Good analytical skills, interpersonal and leadership skills including problem solving.

Knowledge of HR systems and tools

Computer skills is essential
